Commission Process

7 easy steps to achieving your transformation
If you haven’t worked with a furniture artist before, it’s an easy process.
We begin by putting together a detailed brief to find out what's important to you and what you want to achieve. This is where I try and bottle your vision and let it sing out on the piece.
This is a crucial stage in the process as a great brief makes your vision much easier to create.
You consider the final brief with any additions or alterations and send it back with your approval. This is when I confirm the prices included in this proposal (as I finally know what before we only thought we knew).
The project begins and I give you an estimated completion date
I keep in touch with you throughout the project and provide you with regular updates. It’s much harder (and costlier) to change the style later in the process and a collaborative way of working helps make sure I’m on the right track every step of the way.
We arrange delivery or collection of your completed project.
The reveal! This is the emotional part. Sometimes there are tears! (Mostly from me! ☺)
All that’s left is for you to enjoy your newly restored heirloom piece.
The next step…
To book in your project and get started, you will need to pay a 50% commencement invoice with the remaining 50% payable on completion.
I have included some additional terms and conditions at the end of this proposal, which I encourage you to read through.
To accept this proposal, simply:
Email me with your acceptance in principal and I will contact you to set up a consultation to confirm your project choices in detail.
I will send you an invoice for 50% of the project total
It’s that easy!
